Good website, I've enjoyed browsing, but why do you have to look like such a stunned fool in that pic?
Looks like your hyped up street.com article could not propel the new steel ETF to trade more than 600 shares the last two days. Another ETF that fails right out of the gate. Ughhhh.
I don't see where the Steel ETF really adds value over SPDR Metal and Mining (XME).
If people need steel, they will also need other base metals as well. XME has a slightly lower expense ratio as well.
the steal etf adds value to the sponsors of it. soon there will be an etf for private equity. except for a few, the components don't buy companies--they loan them money. so why not buy banks--less risk and a dividend.
you may be right about the steel ETF, I do tend to think it can add something as an early cycle play but that may not pan out.
I too am skeptical about the private equity ETF.
