Holy Cow!

I got in late last night from NYC. We had a little delay. I spent the night in Phoenix and am at our company's office. While I was away the company got me a new computer and a new flat panel TV. Any technological upgrade is a great thing but I don't know any of my passwords to log into to the various sites an programs I use. OOF.

On to stuff that matters. I continue to not get Japan (kind of like Generalisimo Franco is still dead). I see it was down 1.3% today and down around 2% the day before. It was up 2% on Monday. That is a lot of octane for a developed country. For a long time, remember, Japan was going to take over the world.

I have said many times that I missed the current big run up and I will likely miss more if this run is the real thing. We've had a few false starts in Japan and I do not know if this is another one or not.

If you plan to, or already have, accessed Japan watch the weighting. It is volatile and might be more complex than most foreign markets you might invest in.

DUDE,

You work for the man? You said "the company got me a new computer".

Dude, I thought you were some self-employed investor type.

Now I know you're working for the fat cats at Wall Street.

DUDE

Ok, I'll leave it alone at that.

ps, if you want to invest in Japan try one of the small company funds in Japan.

Japan will eventually come out of it's funk. Invest in the small business and you can avoid the volatility of the Nikkei.

FJSCX - I love it!

5 person?

Ok, as long as you're not one of those nefarious wall street types.
Don't ever sell out.

Keep it real.

ps, Russia is going from 5% to 10% of their capital reserves in GOLD. That's going to take nearly 3yrs to do - monopolozing all of their gold production.

Now I'm not some GATA conspirarcy goon here but the charts don't lie. And the demand from central banks is real.

Of course there is volatility but I'm still bullish on Gold.

I never bothered holding gold prior to last year.
