EUROX

Julian Mayo, the manager of the above ticker symbol is much more bullish on all of Eastern Europe than Lelia Kardouche, whom I referenced last week.

Although outside the scope of his fund, he also expects good thing to continue in western Europe ex the EMU countries, meaning he likes England, Ireland, Switzerland and Norway among others. Most of my clients have exposure to these countries. At this point clients have no exposure to Germany and France, I own one very low beta French stock.

Mr. Mayo's concerns center around the very high unemployment rate, or at least that was all they had time to cover. While there are reasons to stay away from Germany and France both markets have noticeably outperformed the S+P 500 for the last three and six months.

Hi,

Stumbled into your site while searching for EUROX. I'm curious to know where you know that Julian Mayo is the (fund?) manager for this fund? I always thought it was Stefan Bottcher as indicated in its yahoo profile.

(And in general, how does one find out *reliably* who is the current fund manager of a fund?)

Thanks

Francis

Francis,

He was interviewed on Squawk Box. I would imagine the fund's website would be more up to date than YHOO's data basa. You could also call the customer service number too. hope that helps.

Hi Roger,

I went to (what I think is) the website of EUROX and although it doesn't say exactly who is managing EUROX, Bottcher is mentioned, and there is no mention of Julian Mayo.

Oh, forget what I just wrote. Do a google on Julian Mayo and he's named as the manager of Eurox.

Cheers,
Francis.
